Absolute Batman #15 features Nick Dragotta's striking main Cover A, introducing a terrifying visual interpretation of the Joker in DC Comics' Absolute Universe.
The cover presents a grotesque, elongated Joker-like figure crouching and twisting across the center of the artwork. His body is pale and heavily textured, with exaggerated musculature, elongated limbs, sharp claws, prominent dark horns or protrusions, and a large distorted head.
The character's face is especially menacing, featuring an enormous open mouth filled with rows of sharp teeth and a long tongue extending outward. His skeletal and monstrous appearance gives the character a distinctly unsettling interpretation of the Absolute Universe Joker.
The artwork uses a mostly pale cream and off-white background, allowing the dark purple, black, gray, and muted red details of the figure to stand out. Strong ink lines and rough textures emphasize the creature's unnatural anatomy.
The word "JOKER" is displayed vertically in large black lettering along the left edge and again along the right side of the cover, making the character's identity an unmistakable visual focus.
The DC All In logo appears in the upper-right corner, while the Absolute Batman title occupies the upper section. Nick Dragotta's signature is visible near the lower-right portion of the artwork.
This is the regular main Cover A for Absolute Batman #15, not a Card Stock variant. The issue is written by Scott Snyder, with Jock providing the interior art and Frank Martin providing the colors.
