Dazzler #1 launches Marvel's 2024 Dazzler series as part of the From the Ashes era of the X-Men. Written by Jason Loo, with art by Rafael Loureiro and colors by Javier Tartaglia, the series follows Alison Blaire—better known as Dazzler—as she returns to the spotlight for a new world tour. Her road crew includes Domino, Strong Guy and Multiple Man, but Dazzler's celebrity status and mutant identity make her tour increasingly complicated.
The cover presents Dazzler performing energetically with a microphone, her long pale-pink hair flowing around her as she reaches upward toward brilliant bursts of light. She wears a shimmering light-colored stage outfit, while the background combines deep blue, purple and pink tones with sparkling white and golden visual effects. A dark city skyline silhouettes the lower portion of the artwork.
The large translucent DAZZLER logo dominates the upper half, while the banner “FROM THE ASHES — A NEW BEGINNING!” emphasizes the character's new post-Krakoa era. The cover has a bright, glamorous concert aesthetic that reflects Dazzler's identity as Marvel's mutant singer and performer.
The regular cover is credited to Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson, while the interior creative team is Jason Loo, Rafael Loureiro and Javier Tartaglia.
