Marvel Triple Action #15 is a classic Bronze Age Marvel Comics issue from November 1973, presented here in a CGC Universal Grade 6.0 slab with Off-White to White Pages, as shown on the certification label.

This issue features the classic Avengers story “The Bitter Taste of Defeat!”, originally published in The Avengers #21. The dramatic cover features Power Man standing triumphantly over the defeated Avengers, including Captain America, Hawkeye, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch. The cover is credited to legendary Marvel artists Jack Kirby and Wally Wood.

The issue is particularly notable for the introduction and origin of Power Man (Erik Josten). In the story, the Enchantress uses the machinery originally used to create Wonder Man to give Josten super-strength, setting him on a collision course with the Avengers.

Originally published at 20¢ with 36 pages, this collectible is an excellent choice for fans of The Avengers, Power Man, Jack Kirby, Wally Wood, and classic 1970s Marvel Comics.
