Ultimate Wolverine #2 — Alessandro Cappuccio Cover (2025)

Ultimate Wolverine #2 is the second issue of Marvel's 2025 Ultimate Wolverine series, set in the Ultimate Universe (Earth-6160). The issue is written by Christopher Condon with artwork by Alessandro Cappuccio. The story follows the Maker's Council as they test Wolverine, their lethal weapon, against the Opposition, a group fighting for mutant liberation.

The Alessandro Cappuccio cover presents Wolverine in a dynamic close-quarters action scene. Logan wears a predominantly red-and-black costume and extends his claws while twisting through the composition. A large dark, armored or monstrous figure fills much of the background, while sweeping white, blue-gray and red strokes create a sense of speed, impact and violence. The predominantly black and muted blue palette is sharply contrasted by Wolverine's vivid red costume.
